1. Languages & Learners
🗣️ What languages do you offer?
I offer personalized language courses in German and English for children, teenagers, and adults. Whether you're looking for academic support, building a natural feel for the language, or preparing for an exam—I’ll find the right approach for you.
👶 What’s the minimum age to start?
Language courses for children start at around age 6—playful and age-appropriate. You can join at any time, even without prior knowledge.
👩💼 Are the courses suitable for adults?
Yes, I also support adults with career entry, refreshing their language skills, or exam preparation (e.g., telc, Cambridge). The lessons are discreet, practical, and individually tailored—learning on equal footing without school-related stress.
2. How the course works & my teaching approach
📚 How are the lessons structured?
Lessons are flexible and personally tailored. We start with an initial assessment, set learning goals together, and work toward them step by step—with practical exercises, plenty of communication, and, when helpful, creative methods like games.
🎯 What is the learning approach?
Lessons are varied and dynamic—with dialogues, games, and real-life topics that help apply what you’ve learned in a practical way.
📈 How is progress tracked?
Regular feedback, progress checks, and targeted exercises help make your development visible.
3. Special Options & Extras
🐶 Is the dog part of every lesson?
My school dog can join the lesson upon request. Many learners benefit from her calm and encouraging presence.
✈️ Are the courses suitable for preparing to go abroad?
Absolutely! With a focus on everyday language, listening comprehension, and speaking confidence, I’ll help you communicate clearly and confidently while abroad.
🚨 What are emergency lessons?
SOS lessons are short-notice sessions, often booked on very short notice or over the weekend. Due to the extra coordination involved, they come with an additional fee.
4. Structure & Guidelines
🎓 Can I try a lesson for free?
There’s no free lesson module, but I do offer a non-binding initial consultation (by phone or in person). It’s a chance for us to get to know each other and discuss your goals—completely without obligation. Regular lessons are subject to a fee.
🕒 What is the duration of a lesson?
One lesson lasts 50 minutes; two consecutive lessons take 1 hour and 40 minutes.
💻 Do you offer online lessons?
Lessons currently take place in person. However, depending on your situation and preference, I also offer online sessions.
💰 What are the lesson fees?
Prices vary depending on the subject, course type, duration, and format. Individual lessons have fixed rates, while group courses, corporate training, and special formats are calculated individually—for example, based on the number of participants or travel distance. I’m happy to provide transparent, personalized information.
🧭 What’s the best way to reach the studio?
Getting here is easy: A clearly marked customer parking space is available. For bikes, there’s a covered bike rack right by the entrance. The learning studio is also easily accessible by public transport—bus line 34 stops just a few meters away at the “Spiegelfeld” stop.
